Bill, and don't get pissed, I'm not sure if they are "the best" players or just the most well coached. The Pats have some guys that were castoffs and Belichick has found a way to get the most out of them. I really mean it when I say this is like watching Lombardi in some ways. He did that too. He took guys that weren't working for other teams and made them part of a great TEAM. The key here is TEAM. Thats not to say NE doesn't have good players but I don't think all that many could leave the NE system and be HUGE players in another system. 20-3 blew my mind on Sunday.....just blew my mind
