A couple of years ago I read about a book on disappearing languages and didn't get the name noted down. Grrrr. I think my nephew would find in interesting, and my sister who is studying socialogy. After I read it first, of course. I need to go to the site listed in the article and see if I can find my way to it. It reminds me some of the article you posted awhile back on "seeing in pictures". What do we gain and lose in different langauages by different cultures? Some language represents the world in such a different fashion than others and can invoke it in different ways. Some more in pictures or in broader concepts. English feels a bit dead to me already, at times. A word such as "justice" that is a concept and starting point, seems to be driven down to an absolute. Just a little rant there. :)
