bouy-

no sell boat yet kemo sabe.
it was on the verge of being sold
when the guy up and changed his mind.

all year is our normal rainy season
except for four months during the
summer, but some times we get fooled
and it rains then too. that's why
we're called the rain people <g>

we didn't go the roto rooter route
this time.

we had the driveway resurfaced two
years back and they replaced the sump
by the carport. but, they replaced it
with a mickey mouse one-footer. so it
was virtually useless. the drain runs
along side of the carport to the back
of the property where it connects to
the municipal drainage system. at
the back corner of the house there is
another sump which was also completely
filled as was the pipe that ran in between
the two which they replaced with one of a
larger diameter.

they couldn't use the backhoe to dig the
pipe out, because it ran between the wall
of the carport and a two-story high cedar
hedge - so they had to dig it out by hand.

but, its done.
we won't have any more flooding.
