great news about the FNM dividend cut (i'm long their poots). looks like they were feeling the glove AH. WSJ had a funny quote from Mudd:

Long known for taking a pugnacious approach to regulators and critics, Fannie lately has adopted a much more humble attitude. In a speech to the National Association of Home Builders last week, Fannie's interim chief executive officer, Daniel H. Mudd, said: "We have a lot of work to do to put our house in order and to restore confidence in Fannie Mae. It's like the old Peanuts cartoon where Charlie Brown is lying awake at night asking, 'Where have I gone wrong?' And a voice answers, 'This is going to take more than one night.' "
