Hello EP,

<<As for inflation/deflation, bull or bear, I am placing moderate bets each way, have weight on each leg, knees bent slightly, as my old karate instrutor used to tell me. Prepared to shift either way. Oh yeah I think I'm ready !>>

Well put. I am of the same mind, and so playing it day by aweful day, ready to run, hide, beg for mercy, or play dead.

I think we we all be inflated away, and then left to rot by deflation.

<<A contrarian move - bought some American Airlines NYSE: AMR>>

... that is a different move. Are you sure there is not a better spec out there? Perhaps one of Pezz's picks?

<<Uranium>>

... god like.

<<I have sold some to reduce exposure>> ... wall of worries ;0)

<<GWB might mention nuclear power in the inagural speech. More than a few new nuke plants planned of Asia.>>

Your Vice President has apparently devoted major capital to lobbying the Chinese for Westinghouse, and in a sustained fashion.

I think the nuke plants in China will be split between Areva and Westinghouse, with dribs and drabs going to the Canadians, especially if Noranda comes through. The Russians may get some contracts, unless China makes nice by buying portable nuclear-reactor capable Russian strategic bombers and nuclear generating stations with a submarine wrapped around them.

Chugs, Jay
