Sorry nl, i dont get it either. The bulk of the folks who wound up in israel during and post WW2 were not zionists at all--they were desperate. Folks like Marcos would have sent those boat people where? No one would take them in including Canada and there was a Jewish population in palestine ready willing and able to do just that. Those poor pals who migrated from all over the mideast to Palestine didnt have folks like marcos putting them back on trains, planes, boats and camels and returning them to their countries of origin. Demographics would have worked out just fine if the Arab states hadnt told the Pals to run as the Jews were driven back into the sea. Mike
