"I let it pass at the time, but that was an incredibly dumb and conceited thing to believe about one's state of knowledge, and incredibly unlikely to be true, except in your own mind."

Where I took my private pilots ground classes you had to fully understand weather concepts by passing a basic class in it. The obvious context of such a statement is aquisition of the basics that would make flying a safe practice. Your suggestion that such a statement is a conceited comment by someone who thinks they know it all reveals how freaked out you are by this whole conversation. Of course ten PHDs in meteorology would not qualify someone to claim they know it all or even close. In the context of our conversation about knowing things by studying science even you could not believe such a ridiculous thing. Any rational person would not have construed my statement as such a claim but apparently you REEEEAlly need to for the moment. Sorry, that our discussion sent you so far over the edge.

Didn't you claim you knew all about meteorology because you needed to know it for your pilot's license?

Now look real close mr science and see if you can detect a context for the level of knowledge claimed. ...Fully understood the science of wheather for a private pilots licence... In other words understood the principles of science and basic weather patterns and their implications for pilots.

BUT YOU CAN FEEL FREE to build yourself a GIANT STRAWMAN to throw your little darts at.

Like this one..."Belief in a God of the Harvest impedes your ability to develop agriculture. "

You backed out of a real discussion. Go ahead with your little temper tantrum it is quite entertaining.
