To me this is the best part of the game. I'll admit it, there is a little Maytag in me. Life is too short not to have fun. Having fun and making money is a gift from God and should treated as such.

One thing you haven't really mentioned is that there is considerable risk in becoming too attached to a stock. It will cause you to overlook the things the chart and technicals are screaming at you. Remember March 2000? Remember how bullish everybody was even as the blowoff top was unfolding?

Marrying somebody is enough of a challenge; marrying a stock in addition is begging for trouble.
