Rummy must be playing Mac.

My father is a retired Army officer who worked in the Pentagon during MacNamara's tenure. He sees a lot of similarities between Rummy and Mac, in both personality and policy. This is not an especially good thing. MacNamara alienated the uniformed military, and Rummy has done much the same especially among senior officers, although I don't think this is widely recognized by the public.
