The death of William F. Buckley has been much exaggerated. The type of people who listen to Rush, for the most part, couldn't even parse Buckley. Can you imagine Buckley actually saying "megadittoes" to anybody?

Rush is a radio entertainer. He's all about the sound bites, and he doesn't pretend otherwise. Buckley is a thinker. He doesn't pretend otherwise, either.
