The Republican legislature in Texas drew a district in Austin that is the most tortured thing you've ever seen, in an attempt to get it to go Republican. Tom Delay was behind it. I don't know if it worked - time will tell. Ronnie Earl, the Austin D.A., is the one Delay fears an indictment from. He's already indicted two of Delay's henchmen for illegal political fundraising. The Republican's are trying to make it seem political, but Earl has politician scalps from both parties hanging on his wall.
