"Further, the Jews are more one people. The Arabs are not one people."

The Jews are one people as much as the Arabs are. Ever seen a dark skinned egyptian? The fact that Semetic Jews were in europe for so long and intermarried with local peoples (or were just plain victims of rape at times) does not change this at all. The fact that there are black Jews from Ethiopia doesnt make them any less one people than black americans make them less of an american. You know very little about Jews, my friend.

"Part of why I think they would fit better in europe."

Dream on. That discussion is over.

"Unfortunately, they still displaced a bunch of people to make a homeland for themselves. That is also a fact."

Not true either. Pals were mostly displaced by the call by their leaders to leave their homes in 1947 and then were further abused when the Arab states decided to attack israel in 1967, an attack that was successfully preempted. By the way you know of the call in 1967 to King Hussein asking him to stay out. If he had think of how much better things would be now on the WB. Yes Jabotinsky/Zionist Israel asked hussein not to allow it to conquer the West Bank. The rest is history.

Further, the Jews are more one people. The Arabs are not one people.

That's not true at all, the Arabs were one people, since they were all inhabitants of Greater Syria with no discernible distinctions in language or culture. The only difference you could find is when you moved down to Gaza, which has always been more in the Egyptian sphere of influence. The Palestinians were not a separate nationality at the time even in their own eyes; that's why they waited to be rescued by Arab armies instead of organizing their own national resistance.

Moreover, the Arabs considered themselves one people, as did the Jews across far greater divides of culture and language (how much commonality did a bourgeois German Jew have with an Iraqi Jew?). The Arabs spent a great deal of time proclaiming their brotherhood with the Palestinians; it's just that the Arabs preferred to see that Palestinians rot in misery, so they could be grist for the mill.

Unfortunately, they still displaced a bunch of people to make a homeland for themselves. That is also a fact

No, the leaders of that bunch of people displaced them, by promising them a land rid of Jews, and failing to deliver. Had they accepted Partition, there would have been a Jewish and an Arab state since 1948, with very little displacement of either population. The Arabs are not animals or automata, they must receive the responsibility for their choices, same as other people.
