Well, not very classy, no. Rumsfeld should have been sacked a day after the Abu Graib scandal broke. He shames this country every day he holds office. At first I really liked Rumsfeld. I felt he had a very good idea about how to restructure our armed forces into highly mobile and agile units, etc.

But Abu Graib changed my opinion. I think that scandal was a product of a very permissive culture from the Pentagon to the CIA to the military on abuse as a means to an end. So even if Rumsfeld and friends didn't authorize or condone Abu Graib, they sure as hell have contributing culpability.
