I didn't hear Boxer's comments. But one thing that is certain is that the war in Iraq was not needed. Not in the way we went about it. The only straw man was Saddam himself.

Now that we are there in Iraq the question about what to do next is very complex. Short of getting in an international peace keeping force I see no other good options. And the option of getting international cooperation seems to be evaporating with every day. Probably a three state country is the solution. Where each state has equal federal power and local autonomy. Sharing of the oil revenues etc.

If they were completely fabricated then I might agree with you, but since they are not, then no.

But I do agree that there are many lefties that use spurious arguments against bush. Where as all the Righties are clean as a whistle.
