I understand why you suspect my comments are contradictory. I wish I could see the world in terms of good and bad, black and white, trustworthy and untrustworthy. I would certainly sleep better. However, while there is black and white, there are also many shades of grey in between. Things are often not as simple as they might seem. No ethnic group has is "trustworthy" in the absolute sense. 90% of the software in China is pirated. Jewish merchants are reputed to be unethical. Blacks will steal the hubcaps off your car. Mexicans are lazy. White Americans will create Enrons, MCIs and stock swindles... Reagan said it best... "Trust... but verify."
