Jack Crooks has a lot of holes in his arguments. The thing that turned me off about him is he flip flops more than kerry! :) And he gives no reasonable explanations. He used to be very anti-dollar (you can find his other pieces there on the atimes site) due to the twin deficits. He then completely reversed his position and said the twin deficits is a flawed mechanism for determining the present and future value of a currency. No explanation why, just is according to Jack.

The dollar can always post rallies, as can Trump Casinos or Tsarist Bonds or any other dead entity. But it will only come back to life if we raise interest rates substantially or raise taxes substantially or both.
