TH, I cannot believe this rumor either. Some Chinese source claims that the four Chinese are chemists and with them there are two Iraqis. they entered from Mexico. I just don't think any Chinese scientists can be this stupid. That lunch box episode was aired on CBS 60 Minutes maybe 10 years ago, I could not remember. That was already more than a joke. The guy who put the substance had done it for a couple of times, not enough to kill the other (the other were a couple if I remember correctly), but enough to cause some radio contaminated symptom. And since both of them were doctors, they noticed pretty early, so no big harm done. The FBI investigated for a long time, although I could not remember how they punished that guy. >> Is there an undercurrent of anti-American sentiment in China too?<< Yeah, among some of young Chinese. But they just complain about the US gov. foreign policy, its imperialism, and only the lip service<g>, they would never target any US individuals. So your guys do not need to worry<g>. I don't think there is any incidence of hatred crime towards the Americans ever happened in China.
