I have way too much humility and fear for the human race's ability to persecute to ever lord my independence over believers like some sort of uber-human. I wish the opposite was true. The benefits of human cultural evolution (dare I call it that instead of development?) is not from finding a "better religion" so, I guess it is a great accomplishment that we do as well as we do. And the world is probably, on average, the least dogmatic per capita it ever has been throughout history.
