Oil will climb up to USD60

I thought I was the only nut who figures oil will settle in at $ 50 plus.

Pensions will be the word ‘du jour’ as Bush start trying to revamp the system in the US. Note that senior editors of the popular press are most likely above 50 and will be publish against it.

What revamp proposal do you see them protesting? IOW what will the "revamp" look like?

Talks of Eurosclerosis will dominate the year. This time is for real. Europe is going back to irrelevance.

I'm surprised at this because I thought that their ability to capitalize on their stepped back love affair with America would give them access.

Scramble to get out of the grey areas. If companies want to survive this 2005 they have to increase rapidly the scramble for where the consumers are. In short do an Am Bev.

Am Bev ???

Commodities? More –much more of the same.

and for a long time I suspect.

Automakers will suffer dearly.

Cars from China to the US at 30-40% less will get attention. Hyundai quality and 40% less sticker.

Thanks for your peek into the future

<<Oil will climb up to USD60>> ... sounds about right.

<<Pensions>> ... ditto

<<Talks of Eurosclerosis will dominate the year>> ... ditto again.

<<This time is for real. Europe is going back to irrelevance>> ... not quite, imo.

<<Scramble to get out of the grey areas>> ... have no feel.

<<Japan ... return to irrelevance as world’s bankers>> ... not yet, my guess.

<<popular press tries to downplay developing countries progress>> ... have no feel.

<<Wireless deployment hot region is Eastern Europe. Bulgaria, Romenia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic>> ... I will take your words for it.

<<Coffee price will skyrocket>> ... I agree, but do not know what to do about it.

<<Commodities? More –much more of the same>> ... later in the year, my guess.

<<Within the year, US declares victory>> ... Bush did that already, on the aircraft carrier :0)

<<US pull out of Iraq>> ... no way.

<<Automakers will suffer dearly>> ... if so, it will be because housing got crushed.
