ss, this was a sad day and also a very bad day for the US. We swore in the President of Iraq today and not the President of the US.

This was evidenced by the presence of protests all over the country and even in DC. I do not remember such protests taking place on the inauguration day of a President. Neither do I remember seeing a President being sworn in with only a 50% job approval rating.

It is the "gay marriage" issue that got him re elected with a 4 million majority (all of them evangelical Christians). But he will go down with the Social Security issue and also Iraq.

Will Europe care for him? Will Russia care for him?
