I can only suspect that commanders of aircraft carriers, who are responsible for the lives of 20-30 thousand men and women, probably want operational preparedness on their side if an emergency in a time of war happens. After all, Indonesia is a Muslim country and we are at war with Muslim fundamentalists, and our ships of war have been bombed and damaged before by those fundamentalists. So it doesn't surprise me at all that this carrier was maintaining its readiness posture.
