FDR served cold chicken salad and pound cake in 1945.

It is amusing how the "liberals" attempt to find fault with GWB. Now they want to build a "better yesterday" - 1945

1. The cost of Clinton's last innaug exceeded Bush's by 25% according to the Washington Times.
2. So FDR served chicken etc. This is not 1945! By August 1945, our combats deaths exceeded 292,000. A few more than Iraq.
3. The average american was on ration stamps for much of their daily life sustenance. Are we doing that today? No.

Orcastraitor probably doesn't know that the vast majority of this country (even the republicans) stood behind FDR and the war effort. And....even the liberal Hollywood democrats!!!
