Apparently not.

They haven't had anything bigger to think about in a very long time. My question has always been how can someone be good enough to pay taxes but not good enough to die for their country? How can one be any more disinfranchised than to be unilaterly dismissed from service? If I can't die, why should I pay taxes? Now, that is not to say one wouldn't give money to the volunteer fire departement. And some money to the guy who cleans out the ditches when they overflow and the country doesn't do it. Or give money to the local school. But taxes when you can't serve? There is a disconnect of logic there for me.
