I never said we were in a bull market, Dizzy. I said the '90s were a bubble- -a fact you seem one of the very few not to realize.

It is quite possible that the rise Oct '02 is a countertrend rally- -time and nothing else will tell. By the time you know the answer, it will do you no good.

The bear market that started in 1929 took about 3 years to reverse. The bottom was in 1932. It was not until 1953- -almost 25 years later- -that the DOW finally again reached the peak it had in 1929. Could be a LONG, COLD winter.

And, yes, this market isn't nearly the fun of that bubble. But the consequences of misbehavior never are.

How bad a haircut did that bubble give you, anyway? You don't have to give dollar figures; percentages will do. Must have really been SOMETHING!
