You seem to be assuming that fussing furthers our interests. If it does, fine, but if it doesn't, as Barnett says, then it's small and dumb

Bush thinks it does. Sort of like the parent who refuses to give attention to the whiney child, and waits out the ensuing tantrum.

We take plenty of crap in stride. Like when helping tsunami victims, their tin pot government give us a deadline to get the hell out. We keep helping and then get the hell out.
