institution? My point about the word "marriage" is that why aspire to attain that? That is what it is. If a relationship is committed it is, without a word, and without state sanction. That is my point. Not that one would walk away from a committment. But not state sanction is needed and no word is needed to make it so. I, and this just my addled opinion, is that the desire for "marriage" rights is misbegotten. It enflames people, and it's just plain silly. Most people would understand the legal and personal connections of visits and money, etc. Why bother with the word of an institution? I don't much care for institutions. Commintment transcends that.
