I have also stated that following WWII it was not likely many Jews wanted one either. So, you're safe...So you dont think germany should be german or france french? Dont these countries have immigration laws that prevent unlimited entry? Is that bad? I am sure if there were french folks suffering anywhere in the world France would let them back in no questions asked and ahead of all the others who wanted to immigrate. The nerve of you to single out folks of jewish origin as a people who would not be allowed a state. I actually had added just such a comment in my original post, but deleted it. IMO, the european states are also quite ethnically exclusive, which is another reason Israel should fit there well. But so are the Arab states. Truth be known, most countries are. The USA being about as good as it gets in the opposite sense. The New World in general I suppose. Most likely because the immigrants clobbered the original inhabitants so badly here. Anyway, many countries luck out and have a clear majority of one group, or have several groups geographically split, so each group is an ethnic majority somewhere. Other groups are used to being small minorities, and learn to live accordingly. It's all about finding a niche. Ethnic diversity (which oddly enough requires ethnic exclusivity to survive long term) makes the world a far more interesting place. I'd hate to walk through gardens with only one type of flower, be the flower ever so beautiful. The sad thing is that ethnic exclusivity causes so much pain and suffering on the planet.
