T, Amen on the strong currency. Clinton proved that back when we had a govt. budget surplus (kind of fake, but Bush's deficits are also faked to look lower than they actually are), peace and prosperity.

Isn't this dollar rally mostly due to a tax event for large corporations that were given a blue light special to avoid/delay taxes by Mr. Bush and repatriate funds starting Jan 1 05?

If so it wont be a sustained change in trend. It's just more government sponsored Enron-style accounting.
