Are you talking about North Korea? If so, I can think of a number of reasons why attacking North Korea is not a good idea.
1) Seoul will be incinerated along with several hundred thousand South Koreans at the minimum.
2) North Korea is armed to the teeth and is not the pushover that Iraq was.
3) China might find the need to get involved if we invaded North Korea and the last thing we want to do is awaken the slumbering giant of China, just as the Jihadis awakened the slumbering giant of America.
4) The North Koreans very well may have a nuclear bomb and probably wouldn't hesitate to use it.
5) Diplomacy hasn't played out yet. We still have a little leverage we can use diplomatically.

Can't you think of others? I get the impression that you think Republicans believe every situation should be handled with the military, when in fact most Republicans (as do Democrats) believe that every situation is different and should be handled with the tools best suited to it.

re: If they are developing a nuclear bomb, then we can't afford to wait for them to become a peaceful democracy, because by the time they do, they will have already handed over a nuke to terrorists.

Where do you think they are getting the parts and technology? Why don't we attack that country?

Because its Pakistan.........our ally. <g>
