Storm Cat Energy SME SMEFF I was a buyer today. Storm has cash flow from 91 producing wells with over $ 6 million gross revenues and he will enhance performance on these wells. He focuses on underperforming properties presently. Schaefer had planned his newsletter to deal solely with his favorite mining exploration stocks, but then StormCat came out with more blockbuster news today which brought it right back to the top of his list. This is a big issue. President Scott Zimmerman announced a big production and development acquisition in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. This land package, for which their paying US$8.55 million, comprises net proven reserves of 4.7 billion cubic feet of gas with an additional 1.6 billion cubic feet of gas in the probable category. There are 71 producing wells on the property but only 20% of the property has been developed. Current production is 2.6 million cubic feet per day. Schaefer views this as just the second in a series of production acquisitions in one core area of interest in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. These are projects that will bring tremendous cash flow to the company as development progresses. Schaefer's Conclusions: "Bottom-line – This is the last time you’ll be able to buy StormCat Energy below the $5.00 level.
