The cool thing was it was live television - it didn't get the exposure the 80 team did. The unusual thing was the 1960 team was a bunch of college guys that had only played together for a few months - the Russians were a total machine that had played together for years. Our goalie, Jack McCarten went on to play with the New York Rangers. Probably more than you needed to know.
