This is getting old, you can put more false statements in one post that it's boring to answer. It's like talking to a 12 year old, only worse. So I'll give it one more try.

re: Terrorism is important to me when it is directed at Americans. Because it is, we need to confront it wherever it is.

Contradiction.

re: Because it is, we need to confront it wherever it is. As far as heart diseas, I exercise regularly. As far as getting hit by a truck, I look both ways.

Beside the point. You are 10,000 times more likely to die from a heart attack or cancer than terrorism. A truck, maybe 5000 times. The point is rationalism.

re: As far as invading Muslim regions and dictating their form of government, that is ludicrous. We invaded because we were attacked.

We were not attacked by Iraq, that's a lie.

re: I'd much rather fight them in their homeland then have them fight our civilians here.

I repeat, two attacks here in our entire history, by the same guy. We are not fighting them in the homeland.

re: And if you haven't noticed, Afghanistan created their own form of government that start out of a loya jirgha (sp?) and Iraq is in the midst of creating it's own form of government. We don't impose anything other than ensuring that it is pluralistic and respects the rights of minorities. Do you have a problem with those simple precepts? They seem universal to me.

We are imposing Democracy, it is not occuring naturally. They have a right to self determination.

re: Like I said before, we have to ensure that any attack against us results in so much pain for those who attacked us and for those who remotely supported the attack.

Iraq didn't "remotely support" 9/11.

re: In that way, everyone knows what's coming. If they want to attack us, they will have to pay a price that is worse than what they did to us.

The guy who attacked us is doing quite well, issueing his press releases on a regular basis. He's getting stronger, everyday.

re: If we can't earn their respect through our ideals and gain peace in that way (and with the jihadis it's clear they will never be able to live in peace with Westerners), then we will ensure they fear us enough to leave us alone.

Iraq is kicking our ass. The Muslim world is laughing at our lack of power. We are forever diminished in their eyes.

Why? Because we didn't go after the guy that did 9/11. Instead we used that as an excuse and went for a power grab, a try to take the middle ground in the ME, not because of terrorism or democracy, but because of oil.

From a moral perspective, we are taking the low road. We are proving to be the despotic super power that every other super power in history has become. It's predictable, but it's still depressing.

Sorry, it's not worth posting to you anymore. Your opinions change daily, you are all over the map. You can't seem to grasp reality, you just spit out the PR line.

Good luck.
