Gush.

A Vendit day-trading lessen:

I made it look simple in the post and is once you understand the difference between “day trading” and “swing trading”. You may already understand the difference and I could be preaching to the choir so forgive me if I am.

In my chart example to rrufff, I placed the settings that best exploited that stock’s intra-day “rolls”. As it turns out, a 2-minute time frame is best to trade his stock in given the volume and volatility. Your statement about Stochastic is dead on correct. MACD is a slower moving oscillator that I placed there as a confirming entry (but not NOT AND EXIT) signal generator.

Lastly, when trading in a small time-frame like 2 minute windows, a trader should also use at least one other longer term confirming time frame with the same technical setup. 15 or 30 minutes will do to spot the trend.

This will ensure that you are not trying to trade a stock long while the trend is actually moving down. I hope that makes sense.

The last chart above tells me that I have only a few minutes after the open tomorrow to exit my position.
