< the last military parade in Tehran had "Israel must be destroyed" written on the missiles. Does that count?>

Yes, I think so. In New Zealand, it's illegal to threaten to kill and that seems a reasonable law to me, which should be extended to include politicians and their military servants. It's illegal even to threaten to kill criminals in revenge, or even in self-defence if that's excessive force for the circumstances.

If Iran doesn't want to be nuked, then they should be promoting a revamped UN which would provide security to prevent the scourge of war, they shouldn't be making murderous Islamic Jihad threats. If their ideology is Hitlerian expansionary power lust, then the rest of us are just going to have to deal with them in the same way that all megalomaniacs have to be dealt with, which is by physical defeat. I don't want to be forced to kneel to Mecca, or suffer dhimmitude and that seems to be their plan. nationalreview.com
