I tell my son and daughter in law that between them, there is combined over 12,000 years in this new childs background--5,000+ Jewish, 5000+ Chinese and 2000+ christian, not to mention 200+ USA. I think the message that might have been missing from the Bush speeches yesterday is the more evolutionary one that "love conquers all". You gotta get the kids to play with each other and you have to have parents who will not be willing to disown their kids if they do something parents see as wrong. Mike

<Congratulations and what a combo.. Jewish and Chinese. How great ..> Indeed. Imagine if the poor little kid was a mixture of Niger and Fijian [of Melanesian brand]. With miscegenation, we need to have a schedule of desirable brews so women could choose good offspring. Jewish and Chinese mixtures would be considered, as you say, top quality, Number 1, A-OK. English and German would be royalty = faintly anachronistic, inbred, but jolly good. Protestant and Pakistani would be problematic. Arab and Indian would be dodgy. Catholic and Moslem messy at best. Jewish and Moslem with flavours of North Korean a veritable Maypole of Mayhem. What would you think of Moslem and Chinese? Would that be a better miscegenation than Jewish and Chinese? How about Japanese/Christian? The possibilities are endless. Then there would be all the sub-sub-sub mixtures, when the offspring of the AO-K Chinese/Jew mix it with the Niger/Fijian whose offspring then combine with a Cablinasian. I wonder if there are any better combinations than Jewish/Chinese. Where would you put Chinese/Indian - a billion of each just over the border could lead to LOTS of them? Mqurice
