Great speech.

Of course it won't change any minds. That 49% who voted for Kerry will think it
s great. That other 51% won't. And so it goes.

Wonderful, Suma. Thank you for posting that. I was talking last night with my Christian sister. She is someone to so aspire to being like. I'll send that on to her. There does seem to be a struggle right now (always?) for the direction of the religion and what is paramount. I was stunned to read a poll that showed how few people in this country even know about the Sermon on the Mount, and the Jesus gave it. It's such a centerpiece. Has lack of knowledge ever bred anything positive?

A wonderful speech, Suma. So sad that Christianity has become so warped in war mongering right-wing America. Wrapping the flag around the cross--so descriptive. And having zero understanding of what Jesus actually taught.
