The enterprise that was transferred was SI. not just assets.

My agreement was with SI

The entity called SI never ceased to exist.

The enterprise that owned SI sold SI .. SI still has obligations.

Can anyone get rid of obligations simply by stating "I no longer have obligations?" preposterous. Such an action requires a judge.

>Where was it ever promised that anyone would be provided extended and new features forever at no charge?<

I don't know that such a promise ever existed. SI used to operate as if such a promise did exist.

>What contract?< The agreement that we had, and have, is a contract. Even if it doesn't have the word "contract" in it, it is still a binding contract.

>Even if such an offer was made, it was made by a previous business entity, it would not be binding on this one.<

Incorrect .. this is still SI.

>As Bob explained previously, he could have bought SI, shut down the servers, and just put a redirect to iHub, with or without any grandfathered conditions to SI members.<

I see .. we could treat you worse .. so you'd better be happy with what we've allowed you to have. However .. Bob didn't, and here we are.
