To my knowledge China wasn't proliferating nuclear technology either.

You just said in a prior post that you think China is providing Iran with nukes. Its too bad......you live in this sea of paranoia where everyone is up to no good but where countries can be slipped in and out of position at will in terms of their hostility level towards us......like pawns on a chess board........very disturbing. And in reality, over the past 50 years, it is the US that has done most of the attacking and that the only entity capable of attacking us was a fundamentalist revolutionary, and not a nation, rogue or otherwise.

That is the red line. When people start trafficking WMD to rogue countries, it becomes our business, because the U.S. is the target for these rogue nations.

The US is the target? None of what you call a rogue nation has ever attacked the US. And you have to be careful when using the words, rogue nation.....that's what others are calling the US at the current time.

"because the U.S. is the target for these rogue nations."

Probably not. Most countries that acquire or try to acquire these weapons usually have their own regional concerns. Israel didn't develop nuclear weapons to use on the US, although they have attacked us on at least one occasion. Iraq produced chemical weapons to use against Iran and their own Kurds. China wanted protection from the Soviet Union. Iran isn't plotting to lob nukes at the US, although if we invade they might be tempted. Being the only Shia state in a sea of Sunnis is more than sufficient reason.
