The humor is noted and appreciated.

You are correct about the unusual events. For some strange reason I had not calculated the economic effects of the tsunami into my stock value equations. It is an obvious oversight. The Iraqi elections should have limited effects on our economy. There are expectations that there will be violence, loss of life, and property destruction. Most of that may have been priced into the market.

I am not exactly any style of investor. I use wave theory, technical analysis, charting, value investing, and a little gambling instinct.

Another area that has benefitted from market conditions lately is coal and gas trusts. The demand for energy is not likely to fall soon. Now may not be a time to buy as much as a time to hold.
