Well now, she never said she had travelled to Europe did she? Nope she sure didn't. She complained about the high cost, which any literate person who watches markets and news would know.
It's damn expensive going to Europe now. Drop by any of the low to medium price hotels in New York City and you'll encounter young Europeans having a blast on holiday here. It's so cheap for them to come to the USA.

So your passport fulminating is smoke and mirrors.
It would be interesting to see CNBC actually covering the effects of the weak dollar and US economic policy, but that would be actual news, and for heaven's sake, we wouldn't want anything to interfere with the cheerleading for GE.
