Hello Frank

Thanks for the kind words.

I am really not clear on exactly where MTX's Greenland claims are other than along the west coast, but WP's post seems to suggest that at least some are next to Hudson's.

Greenland has offered tantalizing data for quite a while now but to my knowledge, only dykes have ever been found and I don't believe they proved to be the source of the excellent geochemistry that DB, DM, Aber and MTX have found over the years. In fact, when Greenland first popped up on the promotional radar, I pretty much dismissed it due the mountainous terrain and apparent local off craton however, I believe that a small craton remnant has now been postulated along the coast in the area where the kimberlite float has been found. Never the less, there seems to have been more difficulty finding pipes in GL than there has in Ontario, Quebec, the NWT or Nunavut so while Metalex and Cantex both apparently have very prospective ground there, due to past difficulties finding pipes, I did not consider their GL claims as a major factor in selecting them for speculation this spring.

As for Hudson, I don't know anything about them or the quality of their claims, however, based on WP's write up, I would have to characterize the play as a flavour of the day promotion and management as promoters not experienced explorers/mine makers. Management appears ready to switch focus with the wind. Good luck to them, but I'm not interested.

Regards

Vaughn

Hello Frank

***OFF THE WIRE***

Metalex And Cantex Jointly Explore In Greenland 21 Jan 2005 09:30 ET

Full text of press release from Canada News Wire)Metalex and Cantex jointly explore in Greenland

KELOWNA, BC, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - Metalex Ventures Ltd (MTX - TSX VentureExchange) ("Metalex" or the "Company"). Metalex and Cantex Mine Development Corp ("Cantex") have executed an option agreement covering their respective exploration licences in south western Greenland. Cantex has discovered three areas containing large kimberlite boulders intalus and glacial till in south western Greenland. These are thought to be derived from local sources and have been secured with an exploration licenceof some 2518 km(2) aerial extent. Cantex collected 458 kg of kimberlite boulders and these are currently being processed at the CF Mineral Research laboratory.

The nearby 751 km(2) Umiiviit Exploration License of Metalex contains 10 apparently untested target areas containing diamond indicator minerals of outstanding (Ekati quality) chemistry. In addition 5 kimberlite rock samples containing micro-diamonds have also been previously reported there.

Metalex collected 518 loam and drainage samples about its target areas and these are currently being tested by the CF Mineral Research laboratory. Cantex also owns an Exploration License of 151 km(2) contiguous to the Umiiviit licence.

Metalex and Cantex have reached agreement whereby the two licences held by Cantex will be transferred and assigned to Metalex. In return Metalex will sole fund exploration of these licenses until February 2007 and Cantex is granted an option to purchase a 25% interest in these licenses, and the Metalex Umiiviit license, for $120,000. The option is exercisable between February 1, 2007 and February 28, 2007 and if exercised both parties will contribute to ongoing exploration costs in proportion to their interests.

The combined land tenure of 3420 km(2) gives both Metalex and Cantex the opportunity to participate in a substantial area highly prospective for diamond deposits in western Greenland.

The agreement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture exchange.

Sounds quite positive.
