I saw her say on FOX (H&C) that she did not like the speech. She said similar things to what she wrote. I thought she was more critical of the speech on FOX than in her column. She found something to praise in her column to dampen the blow of criticism. She is probably aware that her written words are likely to be more widely disseminated than the Hannety and Colmes segment will. She also likely calculated that the written word can be more damaging than her tv interview. People who watch TV are often not the same type of people that read. Certainly her written word can be linked to the WSJ more easily than her interview can.

She is my favorite editorial writer currently, and this column was not one of my favorites.
