A Vision of Our Own Four ideas for the left to redefine itself To be fair, he doesn't so much outline the new liberal vision as point out its absence. However, a very sensible missive. I wonder if anybody is listening? Imo, the biggest hurdle for the Democrats is foreign policy. They won't get elected again (barring catastrophic screwups by the Republicans) until the American people trust that they are serious on the GWOT. And to get serious, they must jettison/stomp on their Europhilic, multi-culti left-wingers, who have crippled themselves by the belief that white Western people have no right and no ability to make any judgments on the behavior of brown third-worlders, all morals being relative. This belief can be very dangerous when a bunch of those third worlders are trying to kill you.
