It would be so much easier to just sell us a War Hero. I think Hillary can win the first few primaries and get the nomination if she is not beaten for re-election in 06. That is why she is moving right for the election. The hard left primary voters will swallow that in exchange for getting her as the candidate. The only way she wins is if the Republicans self-destruct. They can do that by running a classic social conservative. Think of the national election next time as a country-wide California and remember what the Republicans did to themselves there. The best candidate would be a large state republican governor. A Senator will not do. Especially McCain. The best one out there, unfortunately, is Jeb Bush.
