Absolute Morality, like Absolute Truth resists scientific incursions into their realm. Not entirely - you can measure certain pragmatic results, and conclude for example that a society that values human freedom will be much more productive than one that is content to see 99% of the people enslaved with no choice about how they live their lives. It is measurements like this that are persuading liberal Arabs that they are kneecapping themselves by their own bad treatment of women.
