many others you note have done PILES of work exposing scams

One of the great promises of the Net so long ago, before the snake-oil sellers like Berber, Moor, Rea et al arrived on the scene, was the ability of traders to rapidly and efficiently exchange information. Unfortunately, a number of our so-called "leaders" believed selling us out was more profitable than honest hard work finding good trades, both long and short. It seems commission kickbacks and insider trading proceeds were the main goal here, not honest products and services. These people abused the anonymity of the Net first and foremost; the relative infancy of Internet law second.

If it turns out AP was trading against his own clients, then he deserves a harsh sentence. But, Mr. Breen, he was not alone. Far from it, there were many who used SI and their online IA sites to manipulate stock trading activity against their own clients. Most of them did it through offshore accounts, a number of which I've managed to track down. So, here's to further indictments for RICO and insider trading violations.
