Hey Jeff.

It seems to me from the reports that front running was mainly brought to the fore as a method of showing that AP lied to those closest to him, his own subscribers, the point being what his capacities are, i.e. if he can lie to those who pay him for his advice, those that close to him, then there's a trust/credibility issue.

I agree Hansen's testimony as reported didn't seem to prove front running, if we got all of it. On the other hand his destroying the logs is damning. As some here said, so often the cover-up is the worst move, because it shows there's fire behind the smoke, the accused thought so enough to take affirmative steps to erase the evidentiary record.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I read that the jury asked for trading records that had been presented in evidence. I thought this was one of the requests during deliberations. Perhaps, this relates to the specific stocks mentioned in the trial.

Getting the information seems to be only part of the allegation. Use of the information would be shown by trading records.
