This is an interesting and busy little company but its moly play is VERY immature and undefined IMO. from the website: "Hinterland Metals Inc. is a dynamic mineral exploration company focused primarily on precious metal exploration in Quebec, Ontario and Yukon. Hinterland also holds interests in several gemstone properties in Yukon. The Company believes that its current portfolio of projects contains excellent potential for wealth creation through discovery and development by applying a disciplined, hands-on exploration strategy. Hinterland's experienced management team continues to evaluate and aggressively acquire additional exploration projects as capital and opportunities present themselves." Hinterland recently acquired a moly property... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hinterland acquires Setting Net Lake molybdenum deposit 2005-01-21 13:07 ET - News Release Mr. Mark Fekete reports SETTING NET LAKE MOLYBDENUM DEPOSIT ACQUIRED Hinterland Metals Inc. has acquired the Setting Net Lake molybdenum deposit located approximately 200 kilometres north of Red Lake, Ont., by staking 64 claim units (1,024 hectares). An inferred resource of 90 million tonnes of 0.054 per cent Mo is reported for the deposit (Kirkham, R.V., and Sinclair, W.D., 1996, porphyry copper gold, molybdenum, tungsten, tin, silver in geology of Canadian mineral deposits types, GSC, volume No. 8, pages 421 to 446). This resource is not compliant with National Instrument 43-101 guidelines and Hinterland does not consider it reliable. The deposit is hosted in a small porphyritic granitic pluton that is emplaced into Archean mafic volcanic and sedimentary rocks at the north end of Setting Net Lake. A zone of molybdenum mineralization has been outlined up to a width of 450 metres and over a length of 2,400 metres on surface in altered granite. The following table lists selected drill intersections reported by Caspian Resources Ltd. (Fox P.E., 1979, MNDR assessment file No. 63.3580). Hinterland has no way to verify these intersections and in the context of NI 43-101 does not consider them reliable. All holes were drilled at 330 degrees azimuth and minus 45 degrees dip and are spaced roughly 300 metres apart. In all cases the holes bottomed in mineralization. Hole From To Int. Int. Therefore it will be seeking a joint venture partner to finance the initial phase of exploration on the Setting Net Lake molybdenum property. It is anticipated that the first phase of exploration will involve line cutting, magnetic, induced polarization and mapping surveys over the zone to be followed by diamond drilling aimed at establishing the reliability of previous drilling intercepts. Mark Fekete, PGeo, is the designated qualified person as defined in Section 1.2 in and for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 responsible for the preparation of this release.
