Sorry we didn't add more to the BE in the way of our basketball program. We had Brian Matthews the last few years in the conference and were able to be somewhat competitive.

I see where you guys lost Pasqualone( probably misspelled )your head football coach. I always thought he was a classy guy.

Your McNabb looks like he is going to the XXXIX Super Bowl.

I don't think anyone knows what is happening on the hardwood. Its been 23 years since we won on the road to a ranked opponent much less #12. I saw MD play last night against NCSU and got manhandled and we beat NCSU...and I think when Md is playing well could beat any team in the country.

I wish the BE well but I'll give you not my perspective but alums perspective when VT left the BE. We got cut out of a fair share of revenue sharing when we joined and really were invited originally as a football contribution and totally left out of the basketball sharing, and to boot had to pay a large up front fee to join and a large exit fee to leave. At the time we were desperate to join a decent conference and we were taken advantage of. The ACC invited us without bias and we are being treated fairly and justly.

I don't think there is sour grapes now but I do feel that the VT alums feel we owe them nothing.

You are right. I think the ACC is overrated this year in B Ball and the NCAA tournament will bear this out. I think there is a basketball arrogance in the ACC and what VT is doing in the conference is bearing this true. I'm still saying that we are not that good . I am saying that the ACC teams are overrated....and I love it.

Villanova had a good game the other night. What conference are they in...BE ??
