True, but there is no rule that says you should pay taxes in proportion to your wealth.

How about you should pay taxes in proportion to your usage of government services? The rich person sends his kids to private schools, takes no welfare, has private medical coverage and flies a jet around rather than drives, so he should pay less than the very poor who are using more of the government budget.

How about that?
